How Long Do Gingerbread Dough Last

The end of Australia Arrive Melbourne

After Tasmania, it was heat stroke that we again hosted in Melbourne in the state of Victoria. Since we had already visited the city, we are direct ment released from the ferry towards the Park Grampians. Yes, yes, we had already visited with Marie-Andree but we had said we should go back. After 4 hours of road, we almost thought it was not a good idea when the ranger told us that the park was closed due to storm forecasts (!?). After a drought of several months, a storm was coming and the risk of lightning could cause a wildfire intense and instantaneous, like that which hit Southeast Australia one month earlier! It was not stubborn and waited in vain that poor weather leaves. Anyway, with my three points souture hand, it was wiser to do nothing. Here's what AC looked once the good weather returned.

was allowed to climb in the Grampians to go a little further where the weather was better and where we really had the taste of spending our time: the Mount Arapiles. Finally climbing. There was some type 3 full days of beautiful classic routes starting with the easy ... Why easy? Karo had to get used to climb Height pathways over 100m and to me it should not put too much pressure on my wound. Thus did it go, in what was the spot of the most popular crag in Australia. Ca has been fantastic and we could have spent more time but a long road waiting for us so that we do go to Sydney. Indeed, we only had two weeks to take the time to visit the South East of Victoria and south-eastern New South Wales because our ultimate goal would be to sell our van Gertrude. We left two weeks to try to sell anything else, we were screwed, and our ticket to Vancouver was already bought!

Since we had no time to see everything as we had the good habit, we wondered what we were going to prioritize. After seeing lots of beautiful scenery, lots of deserts, some mountains, it would follow the coast to discover surf spots. While surfing, surf above the surf ... There's certainly the bottom of Gab huh!? We also made some steps or we met ... person. A huge park was closed due to bush fires and were therefore driven more quickly than expected to Sydney.

Some images South East NSW : Patch image, the image of forest, image the interior and ... Again, it's pretty.

The sale of Gertrude : There was an announcement about a week before our www.gumtree.com arrival in Sydney and to our surprise, we received calls a few minutes! We made sure to announce our van cheaper than others, so we probably helped AC (we assumed a loss). In addition, people were willing to wait for our arrival before purchasing their vehicle. It has created excitement. Bravo, she sold the first day we arrived in Sydney at a very nice French couple who had spent a year in Quebec! It has left us two weeks extra holiday before our plane ride from 31 March!

With a rented car, we visited the Blue Mountains for three days of climbing ... yet. It had missed us! Again, we climbed the classics; it became a rather spots off the beaten track and in 3 days we have crossed a single pair! We slept with the tent walls and parking without being bothered. What's more unusual in a scene so beautiful and so popular! So popular in fact that local campsite was full! Well. Cheers for the escalation and remote environments. Here are some other images of Karo and protection can be expected to arise in the Blue Mtns ----->
Note also that we are still pretty high! Karoline has improved and frankly despite his fear of heights, has successfully tested the way!

The last two weeks in Australia were spent on the East Coast in search of the best surf spots. To realize a dream of Karo, was carried out research on the web surfing competitions in Australia ; for it, it mean: professional surfers, surfers beautiful, beautiful body, beautiful to look at surfing (Karo: mostly good watching surfing, before I go to a perverse). It was super addicted as well 200Km north of Sydney, a competition was scheduled to Newcastle! We spent two days. Two days of surf conditions quite pitiful (AC was more than a month that no wave important struck the coasts of NSW). Girls and guys have managed to make a good show, although it was not the top pro and Karo was still appreciated. She took the opportunity to take pictures of surfers and several said it was for my sister ... Karo yeah yeah! Karo wants to clarify that it was disappointed with the "beautiful" surfers, Has it not, or rather, has rarely seen.

We also visited the National Park Dorrigo a rainforest (rainforest) with an incredible variety of fauna and flora. Here are some pictures taken in the park including a meeting with a huge iguana who was sitting under a rare ray of sunshine through the leafy canopy. A nice fall below the canopy, and some small houses Stroumphs ...

The following graph illustrates the best news of March ...

A fairly strong wave is announced to the delight of surfers! The waves were announced to be the largest of our trip and unfortunately, it would happen two days before our return to Canada. To be sure not to miss this, we studied the different surf spots of our little guide book (thank you again Caught and Etienne for this nice gift!) to go to where it will be the biggest and most beautiful ... Not that I've been at this level but I try. We went to the border with the state of Queensland, Byron Bay, Lennox Head spot. I can tell you that it was intimidating when the waves started to return! It was BIG! The shape of the wave was not perfect but it was still beautiful. The waterfront consisted of large rocks and made access difficult but I am not allowed choice. After many attempts, I finally managed to ride one of these monsters was the kind of wave that falls from the top with tubes and face down so much that acceleration there was super strong! It was magical! Finally, after months of following the coast, the swell finally crossed our path. My shoulder problem has not been felt and I could remain in the water longer. Long enough to be sold (with little Karo who cares still a bit on the edge of the water to take photos). That's when I actually realized it was dangerous: a guy next to me saw his board back to the water's edge because its strap (leash) and has broken into an ocean as AC without buoy, it becomes risky. The guy has actually helped to return to the board but I thought then that having a second belt might be good ... In short, I went back to board and exit the water perilous left me some open wounds that heal to toe today (1 1 / 2 months later). It has well been worth it, I swear to you! The picture on the left that is unfortunately not me but yes right. That gives an idea of the size of the waves! Disgusting!

Returning to Sydney, we stopped at a (nother) surf spot: Scott's Head, where for once, Karo has dared go swimming with the boogie board to play in the waves. I was surfing away and saw Karo bathe ... Huh!? Go, I'll go and coach! I could not believe my eyes: Karo in the sea! She is afraid of the water and not swim! The conditions were there, the water warm (finally able to require wetsuits), the blue green water and waves sickening not super big. Then I came to her and that happens to make contact, Karo turns to sea to observe a wave coming and it was then observed that a dark shadow length of 6 to 8 feet long refracting surface ... It looks a little perplexed. Karo is in the water up to his neck worse she does not like a dark sound hacker in the water where it is, so she swims back to me. We look at it shed water and this is where we realize it's a shark who wades with us! A SHARK! Shit. We're all out of the water without a problem, but I tell you that Karo is not returned to water the rest of the trip!? 20 minutes later, other surfers entered the water and nothing happened to them. Are not all bad these sharks!

Our journey to the North East Coast Australia is over there. Unfortunately, we failed to see the state of Queensland where the famous Barrier Reef, Cairns, the Whitsundays, Fraser Island and many other attractions of this state if known. In short, it will return. We leave you with some other images
