Syndrome Triple X Facts

The north of Perth is a place particularly known for its pretty wildflowers spring. It devotes much for us, it's spring!. Examples of landscapes crossed en route to Perth. We were all excited to leave the desert and the red dust to reach the green so that by entering the Kalbarri National Park we dropped it. The first attraction of this park is made up of different grooves in which one can walk. We are starting to have seen a lot of walking and gorge so we thought it was time to go and touch the ocean and go surfing for the first time of travel.

Luckily, arriving at the tourist town of Kalbarri, the surf beat the odds with strength and seeing that, my heart has started beating was strong enough. Karo comes out the little book precious surf spots that Priscilla and Stephen gave me for my birthday and she guides me to point Jakes. Come take a look okay? (Karo says it's on I want to see this too, too bad it means more full of beautiful little surfers to admire) One of the finest surf spots on the West Coast was in full swing and surfers were virtually absent! Only 5-8 guys with water (and many others in the parking lot, mmmmmmm). The waves were big enough thank you! (And very interesting to watch surfers) tubes of over 2 meters high! (They are unfortunately all these surfers the wetsuit) After some hesitation, I convinced myself that I am brave (some hesitation! It took him almost an hour to convince watching the ocean). I put the wetsuit and hop in the water brewing. At worst, I'll just watch I tell myself (oh, too bad I look, worry). Finally, after almost 30 minutes of observation of these monsters (I think it speaks of the waves, surfers probably not), I'm starting. I swim as fast as possible, I'm on top of the wave, I looked down and I see that before me, yaa little close to 1 foot thick water on the reef at the bottom of the wave! AAAGH! Quickly the brakes! But they are crazy surfers! On one side they risk being crushed on the flat rocks, and another perfect surfing on a good length ... They are so good that I have no chance of catching the waves of Outside then I have no choice, that's where it happens. I re-test and the guys guide me a little over a smaller wave to finally embark on it with a level of adrenaline crazy enough for me thank you! (Bad me crazy fan on the side army of the camera) I am a mini attempt to get up but without success, and quickly decided to stay on my belly in the pipe (see photo), it was magical! My first wave Australian, in a tube and more. Later I had other but it remains very difficult for my class of intermediate surfer (they recommended this spot to surf experts only). The

days after, nothing. The swell was parti.Snif! Yet so I was on a high! Karo on his side was his photographer and my faith, it took a pretty good picture! Until the next swell, it was a little renovation (after so much time in the desert, Gertrude also entitled to a bit of attention ) was walking along the ocean in the National Park Kalbarri and we met three guys with whom it was not bad tripe in water (and who is lucky this time accompanied by 3 guys for her all alone. I think it beats the duo of Gab Ningaloo National Park. Qn'en tell you girls?). One of them, we see again, has 3 speargun (harpoon), machinery to kill fish. I am officially one (I'll avoid mention a certain incident in a store a harpoon, hen Gab!). Given the lack of swell, we went to the water to feed of the ocean. It was fabulous to snorkel with the gun in hand! Hey, a big fish that happens! Mmmmm it looks good it's ... Briefly, the three guys came out with 5 big fish and Karo and I have kept two and we had enough meat to share and eat for almost two weeks! Our freezer being small enough, we had no choice but to change our diet to prioritize fish. It's hard life (as Julie would say, thinking has Oli). Due to the chore ASSIGNED to dining, Karo was out of all revenue from its directory category fish (I can tell you that fish, I love e as much worse than I seriously have the omega-3 for the next 5 years)
Unfortunately, we decided to leave because we wanted to work in Perth and already a weeks had passed without any announcement or surfing. In addition, it is once gone, it was recalled that there was climbing in the gorges of Kalbarri you had talks with Stephen ... It is stupid, it is not gone. Let's see if we can not go back.

The road to Geraldton. Return to dry landscapes to landscapes and then flowered. We visited some surfing but still nothing (no swell). The landscape of Geraldton would change dramatically with relatively enormous dunes in the city and lots of wind. They could not resist and we Resort the board (it ended up being very helpful this board has tite $ 16). It is a place known for windsurfing (we think of you Phil), kite (we think of you Pascal) because of the quality and consistency of the wind. In fact, there is so much wind been some species of trees grow literally at ground level! We visited a church that took like 20 years or more to construct (and it has nothing to do with AC we can see in Europe, but hey it was added) and otherwise the city does Another big attraction was not the harbor, the lobster industry, and full of shops tank, boat, 4WD and any other toy that involves burning gas. It makes us not to leave a crease.

Latest 400Km we had left to go to Perth were again very dry with little unique plants (they wind ent to have a variety of unique plants in the world in this land ) and the specific formation of Pinnacles. The Pinnacles, these are rocks that look like termite mounds in the middle of sand dunes that are explained by a series of erosion, sediment deposition, solidification of sediments eventually erode again ... It is nevertheless a funny sort of scene. Walking in there is like walking through a cemetery UFO or something like ca. It's a little freaky. We realized it before sunrise to take beautiful pictures with shadows created by the rocks. In addition, it was all alone and there was peace! Just off the park to 7h30AM was across a few cars. As you also see in the picture, there are more dunes in this corner (apparently they are formed by high winds in the area and ocean currents and still today, they move). They are especially beautiful with their white sand that has tried to illustrate. Because of the winds, too, have seen a lot of wind turbines (we still think of you dear Pascal. You could have the job here for your idea of wind turbines maintains ...)

Finally Perth. the isolated city of Australia. It's weird to do that after several thousand miles away. The skyscrapers seem artificial but on imposing. The city is now filled with cranes and construction sites because apparently that just about 40 000 people moving per annum. There is surfing, but not impressive. Spots of beach breaks which provide ample demand in the city nearby. Just this morning I went out to water and the crowd ranged from 5 to 10 people even if the waves were small.

We visited the Maritime Museum in Fremantle (a city suburb of Perth) and they expose the one of the first boats reached Australia there are over 300 years ca. The boat called Batavia ran aground on a coral near the coast and it became a story for almost cannibalistic survival while most of the sailors have managed to s'achapper on an island made entirely of sand . The relief took months to arrive after a boat (constructed from pieces of big boat) has managed to reach the authorities of what I remember most countries ... Anyways, was quite impressive to see these pieces of the boat back was the time when there was no sign of electricity, oil, welding machines, etc.. To get this wood in the museum, it's been through many complicated steps for ultra-wood does not react badly to air and it will not fall apart. AC itself was just as facinating. I took a photo to illustrate the size of your boat. The small lower left corner was the rest at the bottom of the water and presented to the museum

Recently, we stayed in town a lot to do intensive research for the job. I succeeded after 10 days I get hired for what will be our next livelihood by an engineering company and I will still design in civil engineering. Of details will come. Karo as she has received a contract via e-mail that it was not signed because it is not very enchanted by what she should do. She waits before signing it because she has an interview next Tuesday for the same coy than I do the same thing she did in Montreal, from AutoCad drawing for the structure of buildings. We wish him good luck. I have rarely seen Karo also stressed. She says she has to sleep in misery, she has a lump in my chest and to put in the package, because we stress it is looking for a place to sleep. It was visited two apartments yesterday and there were waiting lists of 7-8 people, or the first arriving took the contract. We'll have to elbow greenhouse! At least it is not too bad Gerty took our van. Spot is changed regularly to avoid problems. We had a complaint a night because it was parked in front of people who liked to see the van parked there for two days. It's weird but it is seen here as a bit of luxury without shelter. Was anxious to find a place to live, to take a hot shower whenever you want, to be more than a few feet from each other, not have problems finding a place to sleeping, kitchen with oven and full of stuff we take for Aquis since we were little. It's gonna be awesome!

Here is a small part of a peuvre art we saw that tile. Pretty impressive!

Perth is really good. A nice little downtown that overlooks a beautiful river, the ocean nearby, has the outback door commoditees and all of a city. Unfortunately, there are not tons of climbing. It will run a lot to reach spots (sorry we still lack the advantage of having escalating Kalbarri ...)

He Asked To See My Boobs

Branch has 15 000Km Kalbarri, West Coast

Mr Cable Beach, version Gab:

The next sign was posted around the town of Broome. For $ 1000
what I would be prepared to do? (It reminds me of the story degeux horse with the gang of engineering geo ...) A parade? Well, Why not! Karo fostered in me and we began to search for a Costume Parade for Cable Beach Mister! I disguised in "Blue Lagoon guy" with a traditional panty, a shell necklace, a belt leaves picked up in the day, a spear carved from a piece of palm leaf which had straddled Plastic is a fish at the Two dollar store. Once mounted on the stage in a bar with a bunch of girls screaming, I realized that I was not expected to have a rush of stress as this one. Very different from the one I am used in engineering! At least the beer was free for participants tonight! Basically, it took ben fun and I did not finish in the top 3, so no prize for me. At least, Karo said that it is I who should have won.

Mr Cable Beach Version Karo:

After seeing this picture I could not resist trying to convince to participate in the Gab c OMPETITION. Moreover, having chats with the girl in the bar where he had put Gabriel, CA was nothing very serious. So there is a super perfect costume for Gab. I could not remember how I got there with the idea of Mr Blue Lagoon, but I told myself that if it a contest where you have to be, both in the show as possible, worse Gab already had blonde curls for the perfect disguise. On the way to the bar Gabriel seems more and more nervous, "shit, but what do I do the" Oh, too bad I'll look crazy "(this is my principle Gab). Arrive at the bar or the contest begins, we realized pretty quickly that it will be one very funny evening. Most participants are rather genes, but they are willing to laugh. MY GOD. I can tell you how much I laugh when I saw some costumes. The policeman, the doctor, the gimp (I know, but there may be interested in the style of Pulp Fiction fan, but hey ...), the Hawaiian (It's not supposed to be a fashion show man?) Most could not resist showing us their behinds and believe me, it was not for the vast majority very ogled. The best (and I still think he should have won at least 2nd or 3rd place) it was Gab. Everything had been thought, but hey, they have perhaps not like the accent. But it was to see through each one in and get questions (already prepared in advance to give answers question original). Too funny. I got the cheeks and belly full of cramps. Worse Gab who parade f cimagres same interest of Cro-Magnon man. Bah! it was a little disappointed with the outcome of the judges of course, but the winner had already conquered the crowd well before the evening (it's the crowd that served as a judge by their cries), all the girls seemed to already know. I swear that Mr Pretty-Boy-Son-a-Momma would not win. It was not even fucking CHECKING disguise (probably a lack of imagination and that Momma was not there to help him), but good. At least it's a good living for near fifty years of who won the second place (he at least he was funny). The third was like the first, a little uninteresting. At least now I am in possession of incriminating Gab cliches that I could use in future negotiations (ie jokes). Sorry Gab, now you have no chance to introduce yourself in politque (it's not as if there were really already believe anyway).

after that, departing from Broome to Port Hedland to go, 600Km away. We would take our time because we went there to get a small laptop that we facilitate the a spot for the computer aspect of our trip. By the way, we made a detour to a beautiful beach (80 mile beach) or there is no surf and the only sin (a guy fishing a shark than 3 feet in front of me) and sunsets to be cut breath. Peter is the one has eaten the 2-liter bottle is coming to join you by boat the next 3 months! The tides vary from the more than 5 meters, so with a sandy bottom a low slope, low tide made it necessary to walk a few hundred meters to reach the edge of the water! Again, you get around the "Grey Nomads". They are everywhere! No way to get rid of these retreats in caravan traveling ALL and they are the vast majority Australians. It is quietly contacts all around Australia because they invite us all to visit them when they happen in their corner. We'll see ... These days, I confess only to see the amount of fish that people have the fishing, I was bothering to buy a fishing rod in Australia too. Project has come.

Port Hedland, Town of export Massive iron ore and salt production, ca nothing of a city attractive to ordinary mortals. Despite everything, Karo and me we take a look at the market of houses here and it has no sense. Really, we understand nothing ca; the houses, peep, to sell here for at least half a million! Damn, we're really in the middle of nowhere in the desert! Everything is made of steel and jail is full of red dust, is not no grass because of rain not too bad AC looks cold. In short, we want to stay here to wait for our package so we decided after a few days waiting to go to Karijini National Park.

Karijini National Park, 350km INSIDE land, a few small mountainous or textures from iron ore but is best known for its deep gorges. Finally, some action (no allusion has double meaning here, please), we learn that there are guides in canyoning down these last for a price of $ 215 per person ... canyoning, I can do that me alone? Karo would you STP come with me? STP? Come on! Here we go. It warned the rangers, we look at the weather (the sky is blue ... and we're in drought season), we leave all that we think will be useful and go! It there was not much water but it was enough considering the delicate passages with slippery algae. The way was "Bolt" on the technical sections, which made our job a lot easier and it was ready to even worse than that with trad gear. It was great fun to be there in the gorges or the water temperature is 10 Celscius and the air is 11 Celsius (surprising considering we're in the desert!). It is also our first encounter quebecois Matthew and Melissa. Brief but intense conversation in good quebecois.

were eventually returned to Port Hedland to pick up the computer ahead. It is full gasoline, food, propane and water and getting lined up for another long stretch of desert road that would lead us to the coral reefs of the west coast, Ningaloo Marine Park . From the road, and yet the road, 680km to be precise. We had our 1st right puncture on which it was ready. I repaired the tire with a small kit and hop back on the beaten track. was an image here was believed relevant to include on the trucks that cross, road trains. Note-although they have not two, not three but four cars! When it crosses over a dirt road, it also could just stop for that the rocks do not shatter our windshield. On paved roads, but it passes AC breaststroke. When a worry in the ass (sorry), let's say I have a little extra stress, I can not stop steep (ca 2km takes them to stop them) ... We also crossed our first iguana! I almost hit the poor but after that I continued in the bush too bad it was really nice too. What stature! And to think that the Aborigines eat them. I wonder what it tastes like? (Gab is always spirited think of eating as if I were not fed on)

Before arriving in Exmouth, which is the town near the coral reefs of the west, we visited a few beaches, other mining villages, a museum and see a floss petroglyph site, so burning in the rocks made by the Aborigines are a few thousand years. It's very raw but so representative of their people so old. At this same place, was able to attend an event here called "staircase to the moon" which is that the rising of the full moon, and the evening low tide, you can see the reflection of the moon in the wet sand, which gives an effect of steps to the moon. It was beautiful but it was not the stairs, I imagine that some beaches are better than others for this phenomenon. Ningaloo Marine Park

FINALLY we will have water! It feels so good! To enter the park, had to wait until someone leaves. This is a limited access and they ensure that those entering the park pay camping fees of $ 6.50 per person fee found cheap but we tend to avoid anyway Usually. So online 7hAM Wait, already 12 cars ahead of us. Some came to 3AM! A German one was behind us so we invited her to share the campsite with us to let more people in the park, which the store has agreed. I confess that two days would be pretty cool for me. Karo also much appreciated the company, but really, I was choy joined by two sexy girls everywhere I went, I had comments. So we did some snorkeling, Karo was able to swim with turtles and rays and on my side, with a shark .... Brrrrr. It was about 6 feet long and when he misses me, it was as if nothing was. You're with the two ears in the water, you can not talk because you got your mouth full (the guys, "no comments"), Karo is too far to see because it moves pretty quickly, so silently, I followed him for like 25 meters. I have not seen too insists too close and it did not look aggressive. Apparently they are very well fed with the amount of fish there in the park. We really had a great time in this corner of the country. We even that was temporarily forgotten in the desert. After our first day of snorkeling, we exchange for camping and this was rolled into a section of a route which proved ultimately so dangerous! I was driving at 40km / h on a 80 limit because of kangaroos who stood on either shoulder or in the road or carrement ran from one side to another randomly. About twenty miles was definitely crossing the one hundred or more! It was crazy! But they really are not gifted them to s'echaper! Unfortunately I hit a bad with my big mouth, I said if I had killed one, as soon as I went out the knife and take the meat, but when we saw her take last breath before our eyes while we were kneeling in front, I hesitated. I looked Karo and Sina (in German) and they did not want me to do it and my heart was a little in reverse too. I did not want to kill this small but good. I took him by the legs and put it back to nature, just back from the road. She will take care of them. But seriously, next time, I say Karo has to stay in the car too bad I take my courage in both hands and do my butcher stop being hypocritical, it is carnivorous!

Wow, starting to be a long text eh? Ben is ca one month without giving any news! Take a pause if you've made so far.

From, along our way south, our next stop would be at Shark Bay Marine Park, very much separated by 500Km south, you can guess, the desert, dry rivers and a rather flat topography. Ocean, far from the main road was empty of surf spots for a two-wheel drive vehicle like ours. You start to become accustomed to this kind of text? Imagine we? But at least we're on vacation. The price of oil here ranges from $ 1.65 / $ 1.83 liter / liter. Ouch. The Shark Bay Marine Park is very shallow water, algae and water salinity of a so strong that the majority of fish and algae can grow. So obviously it favors some species unique has this corner of the world. A kind of mollusk reaches ay live so well that the shells accumulate on DEAD meters thick. We were treated to a beach made up entirely of small white shells on a beach named: "Shell Beach" (original eh?). There was also a place of one of them in the world, or we could see rocks formed by cyanobacteria, stromatolites ("living rocks"), the same that cyanobacteria were found in rocks dated to the early life on earth. Apparently, at a time, they have dominated all the species and would allow the athmosphere to obtain the percentage of oxygen required for other forms of life may exist. Us, although we saw that, we went to see the dolphins after a spike in village of Monkey Mia. We took so many pictures! One of the dolphins had put down a small two days before our arrival and are rangers were all so excited. They could not go in the water with them for food but just for the little dolphin that had the misery to advance, so AC has Vallue the detour! too cute to see I swear. A video would be best for you imagined.

To finish the article, it is now made to nearly 500 km north of Perth and the first surf spot affordable for our vehicle (a Kalbarri) currently has a small swell but very good for me by creating waves of 8 feet high (the face). Enough to give me small palpitations when I imagine myself to go after a few months without a touch vague. I managed Pogner tube (layer remaining on my board) and tomorrow I plan to return. We leave you, I must be salvaged for tomorrow! Photos of this on the next item ...
